Living water & aquatic ecosystems

A specialty most
contractors won't touch.

Aquatic ecosystems require years of specialized knowledge to design, build, and maintain. Most landscapers stop at the water's edge. We start there.

Kept alive

A living water feature does something no other landscape element can — it moves, it breathes, it changes with the seasons. It's the thing guests remember. The thing you notice every single morning.

Most landscapers won't touch aquatic systems. Not because they don't want to — because they genuinely don't know how. Water chemistry, biological filtration, aquatic ecology — these take years to learn. We've spent ours learning them so you don't have to think about any of it.

You bring the vision. We handle everything else.

The spectrum

From backyard pond
to natural swimming pool.

Every project is scoped individually. Here's the range of what we design, build, and maintain.

SmallMediumLarge
01

Koi pond

A few fish, aquatic plants, pump and filter. A living focal point for any backyard.

100–500 gal
02

Water garden

Aquatic plantings, small fish, naturalistic design. Beautiful, low-maintenance, alive.

500–2,000 gal
03

Aquaponics system

Fish and plants in a closed loop. Grow real food from a living water feature.

Pond & water feature

Larger naturalistic ponds, streams, waterfalls, formal reflecting pools.

05

Natural swimming pool

Chemical-free swimming filtered entirely by aquatic biology. The pinnacle of living water design.

Commercial & large-scale

Stormwater ponds, lake management, commercial fountain installs, large aeration systems. We bring in the right team for projects at this scale.

A full-service relationship

Your vision.
Our expertise. Start to finish.

This is a full-service relationship from the first conversation to the last water chemistry check. You bring the vision. We handle everything else — design, build, sourcing, and ongoing care. Your water feature stays beautiful because we stay involved.

Stage 1 — Consultation

Every aquatic project starts here. We assess your space, discuss your vision, and determine what's possible — site conditions, system type, scale, and what a living water feature will actually look like on your property.

$150–200
per hour

Stage 2 — Design & specification

A complete design document — system layout, component specs, plant selection, fish stocking plan, filtration design, and a full parts list sourced through our trusted supplier network.

$500–2,500
by project scale

Stage 3 — Build & installation

We manage the build from start to finish — contractor coordination, parts sourcing, system commissioning, and bringing your water feature to life exactly as designed.

flat fee per project

Stage 4 — Ongoing care

A living system stays beautiful because someone stays involved. We provide monthly care — water quality, plant health, seasonal adjustments, equipment checks. It stays alive. You just enjoy it.

Commercial partner

Absolute Aquatics

For commercial-scale projects — stormwater management, large pond systems, commercial fountain installs — we work in partnership with Absolute Aquatics, a South Carolina-based commercial aquatics company serving the Southeast. Whatever the scale, we know who to call.

Where water meets food

Grow food
from living water.

Aquaponics sits at the intersection of our two core disciplines — living water and food production. Fish waste feeds plants. Plants clean the water. Both thrive.

We design and build aquaponic systems at any scale — from a compact indoor unit producing herbs and greens to larger outdoor systems capable of feeding a household.

It's not just a water feature. It's a food system.
